Are You Lookin' At Me?

Finally! My little brownie is looking at me. For days she has been looking at the ground and straight ahead. Now, she will pop her head up and give me a peak. Don't tell her, but I wish I had more just like her as her demeanor is so calm and sweet.

Grandpa's Flowers

Grandpa loved to garden.
Grandpa loved the sun.
When Grandpa passed away,
he left us wild flower seeds
for us to enjoy the fun.

My New Backyard

This is my new back yard. Well, one of my many types of views to my new back yard. Look to the left and it's meadows, look to the right and you'll see a pole barn. Turn around and there's my house. If you want a lake view, take a few steps through the woods and there you are - perfect peacefulness. It's late summer here on the farm and looking forward to all the seasons and the beauty it will bring.

This day we spent a while looking for a lost chicken.
Chewy thought it would be funny to chase them out of the barn. Here's what it caused:

  • many mosquito bites on my ankles
  • a million tiny burrs in Chewy's hair
  • a great shaving to Chewy's hair
  • a lost chicken
  • a found chicken

Clean House

Hmm...about me. I used to keep a diary when I was younger, like at age 10, but after my habits changed, so did my idea of public knowledge of myself. Now days I am OK with who I am and what you know about me.

Today I came home to a clean home. This means so much to me after a long week of work and studying. Now that my house is clean, my mind can be open enough to see the possibility of expressing art. My mother gave me a stone that is scribed "create" and I'm at the point where I will. Might be decorating my home, web sites, practicing yoga, watching over my new herbs grow - whatever it takes - I'll create!

Please enjoy my blog.
